Google Meet

Google Meet (which has mostly replaced Google Hangouts) is a web video conferencing tool that

integrates with Google calendar.

We use Google Meet for the call, video conference, screen share, and bridge to a telephone line

(free domestically).

It's one among two apps that constitute the replacement for Google Hangouts, the opposite being

Google Chat. It's a video conferencing app. Through this app, teachers can take online classes for their

students. Anyone can conference meetings through this app. 

How to use Google Meet- attend meet.google.com (or, open the app on iOS or Android, or start a

gathering from Google Calendar).

Go to start the new meeting then enter the meeting code.

Click Join Meeting. you will have the power to feature others to your meeting.

How can we use Google meet within the classroom-

Go to classroom.google.com.

Select the category you would like to get a Google Meet link for.

Click the Generate Meet link button.

Click Save.

When you would really like to start out a Google Meet, click the Meet Link.

How to end google meet-

Two options for ending your next Google Meet. Just leave the decision - removes the host (you) from

the meeting. The video meeting will still continue for other participants within the call. End the decision -

will immediately end the meeting for all participants.

To check-in for the free version of Google Meet, attend the Google Meet page. Enter your name, email,

country, and first use for Google Meet (personal, business, education, or government). comply with

Google's terms of service, and hit Submit.
